RIP Steve Jobs

Yesterday this man has died. It might be a resounding name or not – he’s been the CEO of Apple and founder of Pixar.

I’ve never actually had a clear link to him, not even through his work. The only things I use that his company made are Quicktime and iTunes for listening to the¬†occasional¬†podcast. The costs of Apple products is prohibitive, especially so here.

Even so, as an outside observer, so to speak, I’ve seen Jobs as the man of modern ideas with the capital for putting them into practice. He didn’t make flying cars, but he brought the world at our fingertips, and for that he deserves respect.

Rest in peace, Steve.
